its the...... ZOOTMAN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! ![]() ![]() I got some amazing zoot from Bob, a set of curly anigre and one of Zebrawood. I'm in the process of designing a totally different nylon string guitar and been tempted to use the Zebrawood! Has anyone ever build a classical with Zebrawood? Or anigre for that matter? Thanks |

Yeah, Love That Bob. I've got some neat stuff from him over the past 2-3 weeks for a future build, and it is wonderful. I got a set of that curly oak and a lutz top and a bunch of bloodwood binding and purfling. Exciting. Ron |

The sound is great. It sounds very close to Indian Rosewood. It tends to be a little difficult to bend but if you take it slow it bends fine. The sound tends to be a little warmer than rosewood, I think the highs could be better but that can be addressed in the bracing pattern. |

Very nice Ed. Don't know why Zebra isn't used more. Very similar to IRW. |

Never built with either but I have been eyeing some curly anigre at the wood store. It really looks like it wants to be a binding on my guitars.... |
